Referees and umpires are always needed for our
activities.
Those
interested do not need to be carded officials.
They just need to know and understand the game.
Carded officials that do apply would be placed
with the older age bracket leagues.
At
the beginning of each season, flyers are posted
at the High School and articles in the local
newspapers requesting names of interested candidates.
A pre-season clinic is held to discuss expectations,
rules, schedules, the method of payment, etc.
Minors
aged 14 - 17 must obtain working papers. Those
papers can normally be obtained at the school
the minor attends. When all sections of the
form are completed, a copy must be given to
the Recreation Department prior to employment
